Max by Great Grandma Maureen Trowbridge Steinbroner 2005

I always thought my life was full and happy
and that was just a fact
and then came along a little guy
that everyone calls Max.
I'm writing this to let you know
I am your biggest fan.
I will always remember you
as my little dancing man.
You always make me happy
when you come through the door
and walk like Pop does
on my hardwood floor.
So here we are at Christmas time
and you are going on three
and this will be the first time
you see the wonder of this Holy Day
and the toys and presents under
the beautiful Christmas tree.
The reason for the season
is that baby Jesus has been born
in a manger in Bethlehem
on a cold winter morn.
He loves us and watches over us
and we thank Him for what he has given us
in the present and the past
and for the little guy He gave us
we all know as Max.
